Thanks peter Just wanted to let you know My semi western grip has help me come to the net. I am a very good net player in singles play I just played a few hours ago My friend and opponent mentioned that my net play is better I believe its because I am setting up better and can be more aggresive with your teaching style. Thanks Kelly
Peter - thanks so much. Your comment on my stance is a good one. I closed it some in order to get more spin and consistency. I am going to open it gradually so I can again get more pace.I plan on doing a video on my slice serve with some of your suggestions. I play with a 4.5 left-handed player that has a serve like you. It is so pretty and opponents just can't handle it. I double faulted a lot in the Indiana district championships a couple weeks ago and immediately started looking for remedies. One thing I wasn't doing is rotating my back foot. I was essentially muscling the ball over and I struggled. We won, but it would have been easier if I wouldn't have double faulted so much. I practiced with my team last night (we played 2 sets) and the coach commented how heavy my second serve was. I only doubled once in two sets so with your videos and course and other on-line coaches, I am definitely more confident. Tim
hiya coach, its cross, just wanted to let you know i won my first tournament today, thanks a lot for the great lessons
