Are you sick and tired of playing the perfect point only to let yourself down at the finish line? As coaches Matt and I have seen so many matches slip away from a player's inability to capitalize on opportunities they create for themselves in points.
We call these opportunity leaks.
Opportunity leaks are mistakes you are making in the final stages of a point that keep you from winning the point!
It could be over hitting the approach, under hitting the approach, poor court positioning, or a mistimed split step.
If you have had trouble closing out points and matches then you are going to LOVE our Free Training Series called "The Closer".
Our goal is to increase your conversion rate in the mid-court a minimum of 20% and teach you how to become the Ultimate Closer!
Tell me if this sounds like you …

Great tip ! While I do often stay out of the secret no mans land , I tend to want to cover the alley which makes it difficult to poach and also my recovery back is not fast enough so I could be susceptible to passing shots down the middle. How to avoid being passed down the middle and stop being frozen from taking steps backward to hit an overhead are key issues for me
I'm an active 76 yr. old that only plays doubles and have played at State, Sectional and National level tournaments. Occassionally, after serving, I get caught by an excellent return of serve (at my feet) as I try to move in too early. Obviously I'm in area 3 and probably should still be in area 4.
Excellent advice against pushers, bait with a short slice as he backs off, come to net. I don't do that = I try to hit a faster forehand from the base line.
